It is communion this Sabbath. Pastor Kevin's sermon is called, "Let the Little Children Come?" The Adventist church believes in open communion. That means that everybody is invited to participate in receiving the bread and wine that represents Christ.

However there is an interesting exception. The Seventh-day Adventist Minister’s Manual states that unbaptized children should not participate in the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper.

Why is that? Did we get that teaching from the bible? From Jesus? Or somewhere else...
